Called in to Grattan's just on the off chance of them having tomatoes which at the moment not every grocery shop has.I was greatly surprised to realise that we had gone in to a proper "old fashioned "grocery shop were potatoes were weighed out in the "old" way and yes they had tomatoes. Great experience for me. Unfortunately we don't live in the area otherwise it would be my local green grocers.

A great greengrocers. Wide variety of fresh quality fruit and veg. Keep some local produce along with the usual imports. Have a good selection of grocery items, and chilled products, some are produced locally. Have a good selection of more known taste awards/ local brands similar to specialist delicatessen in larger towns. Staff are very helpful, and a bit of banter. The shop is a good size and nicely laid out. If near the area, worth driving the extra to stock up. Have a delivery service (I have not used).

Thank you Peter for going the extra mile for me. I asked you if you stocked certain items which you didn't. However you offered to get them for me and you delivered them today. That's what I call excellent customer service.
