Awful experience with this place. Didn't even make it into the house as we turned up and knocked the front door for ages and nobody answered even though we had stated in our booking the time we would be arriving. We left and drove around a while thinking maybe if we came back later there would be someone there but it was the same when we came back. I rang the number numerous times but no-one answered the phone. They advertise on site parking which is a run down garden with broken washing machines and filthy mattresses strewn throughout it. I eventually got through to a lady and explained what had happened. She was really nasty to me. I have no issue with animals but when we were at the door there was 7 dog's going crazy at the front window. I paid 80 upfront for this stay and didn't even get inside the front door .

A fabulous old school Farmhouse, Very well furnished in a traditional style. I loved it, but it's not for everyone. Do NOT book if you insist on - - En suite bathrooms (yes it's shared but immaculate and impressive - love it, or find somewhere else) - A Sterile Pet free building. (Dogs and cats live here) A bland euro-box hotel (there are plenty nearby for more ) - 24 hr service from staff that you are unwilling to be courteous to. (this is a family run place, run by people who care - be considerate) DO book if you want: - Beautiful rural location and lovely views - Classic old style rooms with sumptuous soft furnishings - A real home cooked breakfast at a time to suit you (within reason & communicated in advance) - Decent WiFi - Proper Irish milk for your tea offerd on arrival (first time ever! )
