Having searched for a Mini for my wife for several months and frustrated by local dealerships around Somerset, we embarked on a conversation with John West at Prentice Mini Portadown re. one of their cars which seemed ideal. The service we received was exceptional, from prompt responses to our queries to trusting re-assurances of our concerns re. buying a car we hadn't seen and collecting it at the Birkenhead Ferry terminal. John personally checked the car and it's progress to point of delivery. My wife and I both are obsessive when it comes to cars, this car on arrival was just as perfect as he described, beautifully presented even after the 8 hour ferry crossing. The handover by Gareth Savage was faultless and we did appreciate the extra effort he made to deliver the car to us. The whole experience in our view "exceeded the expectation" in all aspects, why can't all dealerships achieve this standard, but then again that is what sets them apart and we are so glad we made the exra effort of buying from Prentice and not just going local, accepting second class service, trust us it's worth that extra mile.
