        This is a lovely walk With plenty of Wildlife Can be quite busy at times But nevertheless Quite enjoyable

        A pleasant easy walk which is suitable for all mobility levels. The route can be started from the Moira railway station car park or a mile further along at the Soldierstown car park. The canal towpath is popular with walkers, runners and dog walkers. There was pleasantly little dog mess or litter on our visit. Birldlife is plentiful and particularly so at Broadwater, for example, Moorhens, Coots, Mute Swans, Tufted Ducks and Little Grebes. This is a nice place to walk along if you are in the area.

        Lovely 3 mile linear walk along the canal path and Broad Water lake that stretches between Moira and Aghalee. Great place to spot birdlife and popular for fishing. There's free parking at Moira train station and this is where the walk starts. The 6 mile return walk will take about 2 hours.
