Just tried the Mango Chicken after buying it at Lidls & it was so so good. Looking forward to giving some of the other dishes a go & would really like to try the porridge if i could find where this can be purchased in the Belfast area?

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I called up at Karri Kitchen as I was passing last week as I had been hearing rave reviews about the dishes from my friend. There were a couple of ladies in front of me purchasing dishes, soup and porridge so I thought the food has to be good! It did not disappoint at all!I tried the soup first and oh my it has to be one of the nicest soups I have ever tasted. It was a Pumpkin soup and it was simply divine. It was very aromatic and had lovely warming effect whilst eating it. It also felt like I was eating proper authentic South East Asian Cuisine. The herbs and spices were so pungent and the aftertaste in the mouth was refreshing. The next day I had their porridge for breakfast. It was honestly the nicest porridge I have tried in Northern Ireland. I have quite a fast metabolism but the porridge bowls were so filling and tasty. It felt like you were eating a real quality product. No wonder the lady in front of me at the time bought 6 of them. It has a berry compote in it as well as peanut butter and cocoa. I wouldn't be a fan of peanut butter but the way this porridge is made the peanut butter really adds to the taste, flavour and texture and I will be purchasing more asap. Last but not least; their ready made take away meals!! I purchased a couple of their best seller; the Mango Chicken Curry as well as their Chicken Chow Mein. The Mango Chicken Curry was so fresh and aromatic! A really healthy takeaway and the mango sauce was really divine! It has to one of the nicest takeaways. The Chow Mein Chicken Noodles were equally amazing and tasty! Honestly a takeaway meal with a difference. Great price points too! Will definitely be purchasing again soon! Thank You very much! Food was okay but didn't agree with me so had to stop buying. Woman was very pleasant. The man "behind the scenes" so to speak, was not.
