Well actually, no, they won't.
I called last week about organizing some equipment and was told to write a list of what we needed and then come back with it, to receive a quote. Fair enough. Just needed a bog standard PA, a few microphones and a couple of leads. Easy peasy.
Phoned back today to an answer machine, then get contacted back outside business hours to be informed that actually, the equipment is too expensive to let out and we wouldnt be trusted to not break it. Why advertise equipment hire then?
