Terrible products an even worse customer service

I had a great experience with Keylite. I have several of their roof windows. I'm in my house 3 years and one of the openings broke. i got in touch and was asked to fill in a form which I did. They arranged an engineer to come fix it (it was during the heatwave) quickly a few days later. While he was here - Garry, he was fabulous, I asked him to check some other windows as the large ones in my kitchen didn't stay fully open. He not only did this, but checked all of the windows. He arrived ahead of time, took off his shoes and was really pleasant and knowledgeable. I asked him about one of my solar blinds which was supplied by someone else who refused to have it fixed, and he told me to get in touch with the office. Tanya arranged to have that fixed too and both herself and Amanda were efficient and pleasant to deal with. Overall a great experience with Keylite.

Ordered a roof lantern, wrong size glass came with the frame, after telling them multiple times the glass was wrong they sent out replacement glass which again was wrong. Told them again and they sent out more replacement glass. This was also wrong. Finally sending the right size glass which was suppose to arrive the 15th December this still hasn't arrived and I won't get into my house before Christmas now.

Just to be clear, this relates to Keylite blinds but they seem to be part of the same group of companies. Shoddy assembly led to the blind coming loose and fraying. I asked for someone to come and repair it and was politely told to fix it myself. When I pointed out that it was poor assembly at the factory that led to the problem I was told less politely that the handle can move during transport and they don't do repairs. All companies make mistakes but the afersales care is appalling and not worth the cost of these blinds.

Shocking. Bought over 5Ks worth of roof windows from them. 5 dates promised and failed. Additional scaffold costs/cancellation charges for other trades/project delays amounted to 5K+ in total took over 7 weeks to deliver. No accountability, totally wash their hands off any responsibility despite admitting in an email that they were responsible. I would advise anyone to buy the superior and more costly Velux windows as they will end up costing you less in the long run. Take anything Cormac Gallagher promises you with a pinch of salt!!
