        Very highly qualified & patient instructor! Friendly & helpful staff. Great horses & ponies - all with their own character but most importantly very safe! My 10 yr old loves her weekly riding lesson. Very reasonable livery. Great outdoor and indoor facilities. 5* hotel for horses & ponies with added bonus of first class care!

        My daughters have been riding at The Island for over five years. They love all the ponies, who are clearly well trained and cared for. There is a really friendly atmosphere at the yard and the location is stunning. Jeannie has a wealth of experience and her encouraging and empathetic teaching style has really boosted my girls' confidence and self-esteem. The yard is also BHS approved, which is rare to find in this area. I highly recommend The Island!
