SHOCKING FOUL SMELLING CURRY. Got home with a takeaway curry and began to serve it onto plates. We all noticed a very strong urine-like odour from the takeaway. We had to open the windows. I took the dish straight back to the Golden Bowl and explained it had a "strong urine odour". The polite worker at the counter called over the man who seemingly was the chef. I didn't even ask for a refund, just told him about the smell. He was aggressive and argued "some of it was missing" and that "If you buy a shirt from the shop, you cannot use it and return it". The man was dressed in casual clothing and the premises looked unclean. The next day I saw a few workers, now dressed in white uniforms and hats, tidying the place, presumably worried they might be reported. Terrible experience.

I have visited this Chinese take away several times, and due to their continued friendly pleasant manner and of course - tasty food, I felt it right to post this short review/summary. Friendliness 5/5 Choice on menu 5/5 Willingness to bespoke certain requests i.e. swapping items on set menu 5/5 Food quality, value & taste 5/5 General waiting time 4/5(cooked to order) Parking at shop 4/5(sometimes busy due to multiple neighbouring shops) Delivery waiting times 4/5(good) Well done folks and thank you for your great and appreciated service.

Always messing up orders, from sending no drinks when ordered and paid for or sending the wrong food order and no refund or replacement meal. If I could give minus stars I would
