Using my partners account to write this. I wanted them to look at the car to tell me what work needed done for my first MOT, was told to leave the car in and come back. When I came back they had done work that I didn't ask for and wasn't needed and charged me over 400. Said the lights had been changed, they weren't; said that the tyres needed changed, they didn't need changed and more. Be very careful. It almost felt like because I was a woman that they could get away with charging me whatever they wanted. I'm thinking as a beautician that if a man comes into my business that I will charge them double because they won't have a clue. @moderynTyres: Be clear with your customers, especially females on what work needs done and why, show them around the car and show them why. Don't charge the customer until you get their consent in some form, preferably in a way that can be recorded by both
