Vets4Pets - Carrickfergus

Very friendly staff, brought me in to the side room with my pet and had a genuine conversation with me, listened and explained everything. I found the girl very nice and friendly towards my pet, even the wee things like 'say bye to mummy' and I even heard her say 'come on my sweet' when I was leaving the room. I just felt really reassured leaving my cat there! Updated throughout the day about Nellie and how she was doing. Really impressed and so glad I changed vets to vets4pets carrickfergus.

Firstly when I phoned it was the Vet Gillian who took my call & after explaining my dogs symptoms she made an appointment for that day despite the practice being extremely busy after the Easter holiday period. On arrival my dog was seen immediately by the Vet. After examination of my dog she explained the condition & how it is common in the German shepherd breed. She then explained that she was taking my dog to the treatment room for a thorough examination, she returned to ask my permission to shave my dogs fur in the infected area. She returned with my dog & prescribed the necessary medication & explained when & how it was to be given. She made the follow up appointment & explained what may happen on that day & my dog may need to be sedated & left at the practice for closer examination. The Vet was very professional and had a very pleasant manner, she explained things extremely well & answered all my questions. The cleanliness of the reception area & consultation room was excellent.
