Tamlaght Nursing Home

Lovely place and staff and warm and friendly atmosphere

I visited Tamlaght very recently. I was shown around the home and viewed an empty room. All rooms were very clean and fresh. No unpleasant smells at all. Residents appeared comfortable and cared for. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Such a lovely place with an amazing atmosphere. Staff are really down to earth and can't do enough for you. Completely above and beyond the service you would ever expect. Wouldn't choose anywhere else to send my family. They are honestly treated like home from home. Thought it would be really hard finally deciding to go down the nursing home route but the staff have made it so easy and so comfortable it's like home from home. Couldn't rate them enough!

Wouldn't dream of sending any of my loved ones here!! Residents are left to soil themselves after requesting to be taken to the toilet numerous times, then left to lie in their own fesies and urine while staff sit about doing bugger all!! The so called "Manager" Fiona gray is a nothing but an out right bully who uses foul language towards staff and fires good workers over the phone then sends them out letters stating that they have actually resigned!!

A superb home! I used to work here during my secondary school years and I had an amazing group of colleagues who were so friendly and caring for the residents and staff. Residents were always happy and individual members of staff are upbeat, positive and energetic. Family members of residents always felt warm welcomes and this was reflected in their generous gratitudes, particularly at Christmas time and other holidays. Searching for a nursing home is a hard process and the staff at Tamlaght help make people feel at ease. I'd recommend this home to anyone, just go and have a visit and see for yourself.
