Good walks round the reservoirs. As you can imagine fairly flat, need Midge Repellant once things warm up

Lots of different length walks for all fitness levels, lots of people letting their dogs swim in the Reservoirs even though there are signs saying not to as this is drinking water for local areas, there's no cure for stupid

Nice place to walk dogs into Woodburn Forest but on at least 3 occasions my dogs were entangled in discarded fishing lines left lying in the grass. The first time it happened, I had to carry the dog to the car and remove it at home as it was so badly tangled and there was a rusty hook on the line which was very close to be coming embedded in the dog's back leg!! that I've started carrying a penknife whenever I walk dogs here. Also, there is a lot of rubbish lying about the right hand side of the reservoir despite a bin being provided at the entramce/exit!!
