I honestly can't thank the legends at Claim Xtra enough. Long story short: our insurance company (Halifax) rejected our water damage claim (via an unscrupulous third-party "surveyor") and left us with a repair bill for the leak fix and a broken dining room. It was very stressful, especially as we have small children. Thankfully, the fellas who carried out the leak detection work put me in touch with John at Claim Xtra, who I immediately warmed to on the phone. He took care of everything from advising me on what to say to Halifax to working with and chasing up the new surveyors. He was a delight to deal with and genuinely cared about my predicament, the opposite of how Halifax treated me. We ended up getting a much bigger settlement than we initially would've settled for (ha!) and couldn't be happier. So there you go! Don't make the same mistake I did by going directly to the insurer that's what they want you to do save yourself the stress and go to Claim Xtra instead.
