Im sorry I have to write this, but my baby talulagh, she was a shih tzu and she had just turned 13. She was ok but she had a bad red cut on her belly that kept bleeding so we took her to the vets to get checked out and they said she would have to get it removed or else it would probably get infected and she would become ill and die. So a few days later we took her back to get a test to see if she was strong enough to be put under anethstesia (incorrect spelling) and it came back that she had a heart murmur and fluid around the heart. They gave her steroids and kept her alone in the vets for 9 hours that day and she came back sicker than wed ever seen her before. Within the next few days they pumped her with more and more medication and more steroid injections and she couldnt breathe properly so she was trying to keep her head up to stay awake. She couldnt even walk and was so weak. Where her heart is she had black and purple bruising from the inside out, probably because of how much meds they gave her, ( bear in mind shes a miniature so she was very tiny) I laid my hand under her head and she fell asleep sitting up as she rested on me. She died during the night. She never even got the chance to go on her heart meds because of the medication that they injected into her. Before we took her to the vets she was bright and active and barking and playing and now shes gone. No one in this world could convince me that those vets didnt kill her. I miss her so much every day.
