This is long overdue. Met Angus in January this year for private Pilates lessons & what a welcoming approach to fitness, having done Personal Training & Yoga for years. I would never have reached out to him if I hadnt suffered a knee meniscus injury in November, then worsened with a knee effusion after Physiotherapy in the oldest private hospital in Belfast in December, & I was due to go skiing in 6 weeks. A ski instructor friend recommended working with bands instead of weights to rehabilitate & Angus had the perfect machine, the Reformer. Everything about my sessions with him was great; the settings is beautiful (as others have described), the music is superb, the flow (& he's so good he records everything so you dont have to record your own progress), & the enjoyment from exercise. The latter was so welcoming with an injury yet requirement to train, so it never felt like a grind. I was converted to Pilates & will never forget the experience. I skiied the most I had ever done in February, almost 10 full days including advanced piste work with probably the first time ever without an injury, didnt even tweak my knee. I also found a fantastic Physio in Lisburn that complimented my sessions with Angus who gave me the best knee exam & reassured me I was fit to ski, but that is another forum discussion ! Keep doing what youre doing Angus, as youre helping so many people
