I bought a used AEG oven which I thought was the best of the bunch in January 2017, after 2 weeks the oven was impossible to turn on or off, the engineer came and looked at it and it was decided that it would cost too much to repair it and they would replace it with a Zanussi. The second oven arrived, a Hotpoint, not a Zanussi, there was no light in the oven and 2 of the timer knobs were missing. I have replaced these at a cost of approx. 15 to myself and it appeared to work ok for a couple of weeks and then started making a noise like a cement mixer when it was turned on. The engineer came again and said it was the plate covering the fan that was loose and making the dreadful noise. This was fixed and indeed the oven made no discernible noise for about 3 weeks. The oven is now as noisy as ever. I would never use these cowboys again and would not recommend !
