Some very dodgy practices due to a particularly sleazy, nasty general manager. Worse still, he has the outreach worker in his fanclub. Don't believe the hype, this is not a good place. Important caveat, there's a lot of staff, most of whom are wonderful, sadly creepy management appears infallible. Do people learn nothing from the transgressions of guys like This Paul chap? His charity work appears to be a smokescreen for some ungodly chilling characteristics. I believe they invite vulnerable children to Farset at Christmas. This concerns me a great deal.

Most of the staff are great, however the general manager Paul McMichael abused me severely and relentlessly. Gaslighting and bullying is standard fare. A man whose public face is that of a charitable saint but behind closed doors is a very different, sinister individual. Even after I informed Farset I was feeling suicidal (because of the conditions & abuse) McMichael showed not kindness, compassion, nor mercy. Other than McMichael & his inner circle, the staff are wonderful people. Providing compassion & dignity. Unfortunately, when management is corrupt, offsetting the damage is something of a loosing battle. It may seem far fetched to suggest a man who appears to do a great deal of charity work can behind closed doors be a very unsavoury individual, but as God is my witness, Paul McMichael is not a good person. Bless the rest of the staff, it cannot be easy to work under such a man. Beware.
