Bates collected their skip at the request of a neighbour when it was placed outside my door and not blocking anyones parking or pedestrians. The invoice and payment came from me but they didnt inform me they were collecting. They responded to a neighbour who then asked them to put their rubbish that was on the street into the skip as well. When I called them and asked them about it they made excuses and said they had the right to collect it according to the notes on the receipt. I asked them to read it out. The girl started to read it but it didnt say what she claimed it said so she hung up on me. Very rude and very rough people to deal with. Not professional in the slightest. I dont recommend them. Service: House & garage cleanouts

Could not have had better service. With what was a very difficult time for my family with the passing of my father, we needed a skip to finish off work he had been clearing out. When I informed them of our situation they were fantastic. Had the skip out within the hour and collected the next day. A special mention and thanks to kirsty, Nathan and Hannah who could not have been more helpful. Service: Junk removal

Absolute shambles of customer service. Phoned for skip collection, and was told by the person on the phone that we had a two week lease of the skip, and we would be charged an extra 850 because we had had it for longer. I knew we had agreed when I got the skip there would be no time limit placed on it. I challenged him, to which he claimed he had only been 'joking'. Were they actually prepared to fleece someone who didn't know any better? Complete joke regardless. Service: Construction debris removal

Customer service was shocking! I emailed asking for a quote for the 4 tonne skip for household waste, I was told 120, I then phoned and booked it in. On arrival of the skip I phoned office to pay, I was told '130 for the 5.5tonne which has been delivered' I ofcourse did not order this size and said politely that I only ordered the 4 and referred her the email correspondence. 'fine then we will take that one away and get you the 4 out next week' so instead of an apology or taking responsibility for delivering the wrong size skip she was going to take the skip away unless I paid the extra tenner. Very convenient mistake on their part. I then asked if I could speak to a manger (very karen move i know), I was told they dont have one.... I was then told they did have a boss but I couldnt speak to him, no reason given.... I asked for a phone number, she said no, i asked for a email, she said no.... So I gave in and paid the extra money (I understand its only a tenner but its the principle) Honestly the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. If I even got an apology or was spoken to with a bit of common decency I wouldnt have had an issue but here we are... Would not recommend. 1.star goes to the delivery driver who was friendly and helpful
