Home Hero Cleaning Ltd

I do not often write poor reviews and have left this while I have thought over but I feel I must add my opinion. I hired Home Hero to do a deep clean of a old property we were about to move into. I provided details of the house and links and was given a quote. This was arranged quickly via email. On the day of the clean the cleaners were prompt and friendly and appeared to be hardworking. I had asked for the carpets to be cleaned and after 1 carpet the machine broke which I was informed of quickly and told I would not be charged which was reasonable. I had to leave prior to the clean being finished for childcare. When I returned to the property I was happy with some areas but obviously not happy with others. Some areas had not been done thoroughly and there was a lack of attention to detail. The team had also left dirty clothes and drinks cans. It then became apparent that although I was quoted for cupboards (kitchen and bathroom) to be cleaned inside and out that this had not been done, and the kitchen was not in a state I would consider to be professionally deep cleaned. When I emailed to express my concerns I was told it 'turned out to be quite a big job' and, in my opinion, a small discount was offered. I would have preferred that they had been honest and up front that they didn't have time enough time to complete things, or said they would have to come back (although I did not have time prior to our belongings coming the next day). I then had to finish the cleaning myself which for personal reasons negated the point of paying a not insignificant sum to have it done in the first place. Overall I am afraid I was disappointed and would not use their services again. Service: Deep clean
