This is a beautiful hotel, in central Belfast. We stayed for the weekend, having to attend a meeting in the hotel on the Saturday. However, for a 4 star hotel, the management needs a serious shake. Our booking was lost the first time and wrong the second. We got a twin instead of a double. Room 417 wasnt actually ready (although I suppose they thought it was) as we only had 2 bath towels available. There was dust on almost every flat hidden surface (doors, frames, door hinges, shower head) like the room hadnt been thoroughly cleaned for a while. The wardrobe consisted in a 20cm rail with 5 hangers. When we asked for more, unbelievably they gave us some thin, metal, laundry style hangers: never happened before in my life, even in lower category hotels. Worst, they never made our room in between the two nights. We rang reception twice to request this, we even went back to the bar to give them time to do it, but nobody ever came. Finally we got a couple of dry towels from reception. And no apologies. The piano bar is lovely, decor is gorgeous, buffet breakfast is good. The rooms for the meeting and the catering where good. But overall I am afraid this is not the service you expect when you book a 4 star.
