        Course was in excellent condition - felt the use of matts was a bit excessive - understandable on the fairways but rough and second cut as well is a bit excessive. Can understand following the bad rain and weather. Course was in great condition with some lovely greens - bunkers were great and in top condition. Greens ran well and were a good challenge. Definitely target golf and despite the short distances in terms of length of holes - still a good challenge.

        Played 18 holes but, as was still quite wet underfoot, had to use mats...but, good idea as it helps protect the fairways from having winter damage. Greens coming along nicely and a good lunch to finish off...
