Possible that this is the worst energy provider I have ever worked with. There is no customer service, you will never be able to speak to them. The discounted rates quickly disappear, when you try to cancel you cannot.

Liers who have lost two 600 government energy vouchers and they say they have no way to trace my voucher. Whoever is at fault obviously they will have the contact details of both companies involved with voucher details and creation and be able to track my voucher. The call centre staff lied and told me the vouchers have no expiry and can be cashed in 3 months when received. The last day to cash voucher is 30th June. They are cruel and disgusting.

Avoid at all costs a terrible company full off bulls#! + artists and the worst customer service I have ever seen. I'm switching as soon as possible with all my family and advising everyone to do the same before you have to deal with them. Every 1 star review I have read sums them up perfectly even there copy paste reply is worthless

Extremely poor customer service, hiked my tariff weeks after joining, sporadic billing; which when quiried resulted in them changing my payment terms(monthly dd to quarterly) and leaving us with a massive bill! Only giving 1 star as the lights are still on!

I begrudge having to give Electric Ireland even 1 star! Never encountered such abysmal customer service. No response to emails, unable therefore to check online account as customer number never received. I'm a new customer and have just received a bill for 1400+ for the past TWO months!!! They calculate my bill starting from a meter reading from Jan 2021 even though I am a new customer from Jan 2023! Since they never bother answering their emails and phone line I don't know how I'll find out the actual bill. I changed back to Power NI last night and am preaching to family and friends to stay clear of Electric Ireland for their sanity and financial well being! If they don't sort this bill out tomorrow by phone I'm making a complaint to the Consumer Council.
