        I have had problems with NIE in the past regarding installation of business meters etc. Today though James arrived to upgrade an old meter in my home He was friendly, efficient and professional. There is another section at the meter requires replacement and he phoned and organised the appointment to be brought forward. The other team have just arrived. So my new kitchen can be installed on Thursday. One less thing for me to worry about James has restored my faith in NIE

      • I have a house where a shop was converted to an apartment, and they forced me to install a business meter. They said that because I belonged to the landlord, it was considered business. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Isn't this ridiculous?

        I have tried a few electric companies and as soon as join after couple months they up the prices. Always end up back to NIE and won't be changing again.
