The level of care and attention paid to us fell well below any reasonable expectations. - Repeatedly not called back to arrange appointments and discuss results, nobody could give a reason as to why this kept happening. -Given the wrong blood test results at one stage, we were given the correct results a month later -Consultants openly discussed the details of our case among themselves in the reception area, in front of everyone there. Very degrading -The consultant we seen was unprepared and seemed disinterested, couldn't get us out of the room quick enough to end the appointment We decided to move clinics before we started treatment as we had zero confidence in Belfast Fertility. They made what was already a very stressful situation much worse.

Reception and nursing staff where helpful f2f but doctors where so unapologetically blunt in meetings it was difficult to appreciate that there was any positive options within a dead-pan hard pragmatic conversation style. Personal style perhaps? Until we had to ask our way into any options rather than being offered those during consultations. Fortunately my partner where informed and confident enough to ask. I fear some people would take this at face value. Another telling thing was that for logistical reasons we needed to split testing across two UK clinics, BFC being one. When management found this out they actually refused to give us any more test services with a nonsense 'just our policy' excuse. Poor communication generally throughout the process with more than once being contacted for important actions needed in error (and not being able to trace how that happened). Imagine a business like this having responsibility over such personal details on you.
