Argos Belfast Forestside

I have to add to peoples bad experience. 2 queues for collection and I was in the first q and ignored for 10 mins. The guy with the glasses, not the younger guy needs to be retrained in customer service. No stairs from me, horrendous. To add ordered a item for collection and it was delayed 6 days which meant had only 1 day to collect rather than the usual 7. When I tried to pick up on the 8 days I was told it would be sent back and couldnt get it even thou it was there. Argos policies are seriously flawed!

Head office need to educate the store management and staff on the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and honouring warranties. I returned my faulty product three times with the receipt and each time quoted my consumer rights. Each time they fobbed me off to the manufacturer even though it is the retailer who is responsible. When I phoned Argos HQ they told me that 'some stores take a different approach'. Unfortunately for Argos consumer law is not something you can pick and choose. Thankfully Argos Holywood Exchange did a straight swap and their well mannered staff member even commented that the Forestside branch is renowned for not honouring warranties. Sort it out.
