1.45 for one sausage roll is extortionate. Two for 1.40 at one of the Centra stores in the city centre. Plus it wasn't even great taste wise. Two young ladies on checkout were in full flight talking to each other as one of them served me. Beyond rude. I won't be back.

I thought their sausage rolls tasted kind of funny so I went round back and saw them putting deliveroo guys into a meat grinder. I won't lie and say I haven't bought a sausage roll since, it's just too convenient

Credit has to be given where credit is due. This Centra stayed open throughout the pandemic, and remains open. It was and remains a great help. The staff were great before the pandemic and have remained great throughout it. It had and has a good range of products and it adapted well to the demands of the pandemic. Care of the coffee station could be improved though, for example, it could be ready to serve coffee from 6 am (when the shop opens), with sufficient milk, lids, paper napkins in place. Then it'll get five stars. But it was a stalwart of the pandemic and remains so. Credit has to be given where credit is due. Coffee station improved = 5 stars.
