This is where you go for something a little different and as a treat to yourself and whoever you're with. Try here if you are on a 2nd or 3rd date with someone. Belfast is big enough and can easily accommodate a few more places like this.

There are many things to look for in a cocktail bar, great vibe, nice atmosphere, the quality of the cocktail. Rattlebag has that little extra, yes good cocktails but also knowledge. These guys care about cocktails. Matthew can wax lyrical about their ice, Chris is smooth as silk as front of house. They can explain each cocktail and the background and if you challenge them they are sooooo cool about that. This is a GREAT cocktail bar. This crew know cocktails. Go!!!!

Fine cocktail bar with actual alcohol in them, unlike many bars in Belfast who give juice and ice. Original cocktails with presentation. The staff are well trained and knowledgeable so definitely try this place out. No matter what tour drink is, it should be represented here, and additional and traditional cocktails can be made too. Excellent.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Excellent cocktails, intimate atmosphere and a wonderful team led by the awesome Chris. Whether you want a quiet drink or to listen to DJ's some evenings or join one of the classy events they have it all. The awesome cocktails menu is renewed monthly, discovering the new creations is a treat.
