Hi my name is Martin logue . I first started using this Support Group in 2014 . After one of my many discharges from Hospital . For me this was the first big Stepping Stone on my road to RECOVERY .. without a doubt this Support Group has turned my whole life around . There is something very powerful , and special about this group . From the very first night I walked through its doors , I was taken and looked after by one of the Aware lady volunteers , who was facilitating the group . She was so easy to open up and chat to , maybe because she was a Peer herself , and she had a really big understanding of Depression & Anxiety . I new that very first night , that I had found what I was looking for , HOPE , it was as if I was drowning , and someone threw this very big lifebelt to me !! An amazing feeling . So please anyone out there who is experiencing poor mental health , and cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel . Please please give this group a try , and I can promise you this , this to will be your first big stepping stone , on your road to Recovery , that is a promise . The only thing I find it hard to understand , is why there is not more people using this Support Group . I'm always Advocacing it on the hospital Wards , where I delivery Peer Advocacy each week . There are many of these AWARE GROUPS , in each town and City . Download the HERE2HELP app on your phone , and you will find all the information you will need , directions , phone numbers , and websites . Please at least try it once or twice . And you will feel a difference in your wellbeing . Its the first Big step , on your road to Recovery . What you put in , is what you get out !!!.. Martin. Dunmurry..

Excellent service for people with depression and related conditions. I still can't figure out why it is not used by more people. Secular sobriety programs have similar issues.
