The cottage is lovely and the welcome pack was very much appreciated.when we arrived there was milk bread and butter and a few other items.the beds r very comfy.but its draughty there is no curtains on any of the windows i think if there was it would help with the draughts.the central heating warms the cottage very well.its a bit of a way from the town.we had to get taxis everywhere as we dont drive and have walking difficulties. when u come out the front door if u turn left there is over 50 steps to go up and down and if u turn right there is very steep hills to climb.

We booked this lovely cottage for 3 nights while we toured Belfast in August. It was an easy drive into Belfast for the day. Bangor itself is a beautiful quaint town on the ocean and the cottage is a walk down some stairs to the harbour. Our host Nicky met us when we arrived to give us the keys to this cozy, quaint cottage. He had previously sent before our arrival a list of places to eat, get groceries and things to do in the area, which was very helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need, in addition Nicky had made sure there was fresh bread, egg, milk, coffee, tea and anything you needed to make yourself breakfast so we didn't have to rush out to get groceries as soon as we arrived. Also, was a beautiful bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge for us, such a lovely thoughtful touch. The two bedrooms were roomy and the beds were to die for, so comfortable and luxurious and a chocolate waiting on the pillow. Nicky provided us with his cell phone number should we have any questions or problems, which we didn't but he checked in on us anyways. The cottage had a beautifully renovated full bathroom off the one bedroom and another ensuite off the other. We so enjoyed our time at the cottage and would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat, should we return to Northern Ireland (which I so want to). I have rented many homes and condos from the VRBO site and I have to say this was my best experience ever. The level of care and little touches were amazing. His response time was very quick when initially booking dates and refunded the damage deposit. This was a five star experience for us!!
