EUROSPAR Ashbury

The store itself is like any other Eurospar. Some good offers, good selection. Although a couple of the more mature staff could be a little more helpful. The fruit/ veg selection is good for a "corner shop" but the Eurospar in Donaghadee is much better for fruit, veg. Now, onto the annoying bit about this store...the aisles are packed with wire basket stands containing promotional products on offer. This is not wheelchair accessible nor good for those using a double buggy. That basket stand of jammie joeys will stop you in your tracks! No room to move at all. Aisles are cluttered to say the least. Always a cage of stock/ cardboard to navigate and the timber tables of bakery products near the butcher's shop is taking up way too much room. Eurospar pay attention--- The width of aisles There should be sufficient space between display shelves for a wheelchair user to turn. Aisles should have aminimum width of 850mm (2 10), or 1.2m (3 11 )in supermarkets. Where do I begin about the parking...every twatwit on the road in Bangor seems to use this store and neighbouring businesses. If you fancy a ding in your car door or alternatively have 360 vision then park right up!

This place is always busy and packed. Everyone seems to be so nice and helpful. Their shelves are always well stocked and easy to find stuff. A bit on the pricey side but sure everywhere is nowadays.

Thought I'd try the hot food/ sandwich bar. Asked for a ham and cheese salad sandwich. When I got home it was chicken! Bread was stale.
