Want a no nonsense pint? Want to go to a bar where they actually value your custom and not just the pound in your pocket? This is the place for you.

Want to know what to expect at Jordy's? A warm welcome and a great pint. A wee bit of history first because it can be confusing. Matt used to have a bar up the street called Matts. He sold it. A while later he bought Jordy's from Jordy. Now Jordy doesn't have a bar but has his name above one; Matt has his name above a bar that isn't a bar anymore but owns one. Simples as the meerkat would say. Run by Matt and Mary, (insert your own Father Ted joke here), it's a cosy, old fashioned Irish pub with many an original feature, though Matt has to take the mirror to a couple of them every so often to make sure they're still alive! There's a lounge behind the main bar which gives the place a bit of a Tardis feel but it allows the visitor a place to gather themselves or somewhere to sit if the main bar is crowded which isn't difficult, it's about 10ft by 10ft! Don't worry though, you'll soon make friends and be feeling like you've been going there for years and who knows, Matt might even show you his mirror!
