This place seems to have been set up as a good concept but completely underdelivers. Its a real shame as it looks good and some staff were good. The food seems more for insta than for eating as everything seems to be carefully created then reheated but sadly when we were there they couldn't do a decent job of that. Foccaci that looks toasted with melted cheese came out half cold. Other starters seem microwaved and again only part heated. Main salmon was very salty. Pear salad was bizarre. The cheese was way too bland to be gorganzola , the pears soppy tinned excuse for pears, lots of romaine lettuce, poor walnuts, no flavour. We had a bottle of champagne to start and the waitress got a corkscrew out to open it. I understand not everyone drinks champagne but its down to management to implement good standards and they are seriously lacking here. As I said, it's a real shame it let's itself down so badly, management need to step in and get a grip before all the negative experiences go against them. Edit. We've now eaten twice at Castle kitchen and that's how it should be. Hopefully we just got a bad night at Fratelli's.

Left standing around awkwardly at the front desk for a while. Sat down and ordered without issue. Ordered the Chicken and Orzo; the chicken itself was lovely but the orzo was swimming in a pesto sauce that was just too much, the pasta was over-cooked and mushy. Girlfriend had a pizza, could have been out of the freezer; dough was awful, sauce was bland, toppings were scarce. Ordered the croquettes as well; just tasted like pure potato - couldnt tell there was ham and cheese supposed to be in them. Two dishes that I could make better in the house myself; so to pay what we did for them defeats the purpose of going out for me - I want to be impressed by eating out, not stuck having to write a review like this. Staying in one of the cottages in the Galgorm, and had considered going out for an Indian takeaway earlier in the night - wish I had now. Likely wont be back, and wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Our experience was satisfactory, descent selection of food, good service but the prices were horrendous . 19 for a pizza, 16.55 for a glass of wine and a pint!!!! Avoid the desserts, asked for the Morrellis ice cream selection and got a small tub of Draynes ice cream for 4.50. Wow talk about a rip off!!! Shame at these prices I certainly wouldn't be back here again, there are plenty of better priced pizzerias in the area.
