First time visiting here. We were visiting family and this was recommended with the warning portions were huge. Most definitely true. Ordered one cod fillet and a portion of chips and onion rings for two of us. First the portion of fish was 2 whole cod fillets. It was nicely cooked but could have had crispier batter. Onion rings were eight freshly battered and fried huge onion rings about 4 -5 inches in diameter and an inch or so thick. They were to die for. The chips were easily enough for both of us with a another helping left over. However they were a disappointment. I think we got reheated chips, not fresh. They were rather soggy and clumped together and with a very unpleasant taste from the oil which was off-putting and has left a bad aftertaste. Not very hot either. Some of the worst chips I've ever had. I'd go back for the onion rings and perhaps try something else but I wouldn't get chips again.
