My experience of Mr McDowell was similar to Vicki Dunn's. In June he said he was so busy that the work I needed - the replacement of a leaking gutter bracket - could not be considered until September. I called him after this long delay and he came to my house the next day. He said, much to my relief (the leak was much more serious by now), that he would do the work the following week. On Thursday afternoon of that week, I rang him for an update. He said he would do the job but couldn't say when, suggesting that if that was not satisfactory I could take my business elsewhere. It wasn't and I did.

Couldn't praise Craig and his son enough for their work, our facias, soffits, downpipes and gutters are like brand new again. Very pleased to have found someone that actually takes pride in their work. Thanks guys :D

I was disappointed with the service because I had contact them late July, Craig had said it would not be a problem to call out. We made arrangements for him to call out the following week to repair it, but he never showed or called to cancel. I phoned him 2 weeks after the initial contact he then said he was too busy to call out and I should go elsewhere. I feel it was bad service because they should have informed me from the start so I could have gone elsewhere.

Brilliant so good at what they do. They left my house spotless and were so nice to talk to very pleasant. Would recommend Mc dowell bros to anyone.
