LMC Car Sales

Bad experience at LMC after my engine broke after 2 months of ownership & a 6 month warranty which did not exist. Engine repair bills of 3,000 & no car for 6 weeks awaiting parts which I had to pay for. After more than 6 months plus of calls & no answer, I was finally got 2 separate payments of 1,000 amounting to 2,000. I was left 1,000 out of pocket and 6 weeks without a car. Buyers be warned

Avoid at all cost. Bought a car from them and have had to put almost 3000 in it to keep it running the first year I owned it. Was promised an "superb condition" "fully serviced" vehicle on sale (8000) and after it crapped up it's turbo and developed clutch issues (in the first TWO weeks of ownership) they decided they will not respect trade law and refused to take the car back. After 6 months of fighting (including involving the car manufacturer, which they refused to listen to) and the owner dodging me, it took me almost 3000, yes 3k to get the car to a drivable condition after buying it from LMC cars.

After 5 months of owning a car from LMC Im almost ready to send it to the scrap heap. Within 30 days of owning it, I had to send the car back to them twice with pretty major issues. I begged, pleaded and lost my rag with John down the phone to take this car back but thats not how it works according to him, very much against my rights as a consumer. Twice more it was sent up to them to get fixed - 3 different issues in 4 visits - and they really cheaped out on what they would do each time. Despite the engine problems I had to drive the car to them 2 times as recovery vehicles cost us a lot. Told me anything I wanted to hear (surprise surprise) when buying. Needed a cheap and cheerful car, got sold something on its last legs. Absolute disgrace
