I am making a comment regarding customer service with AIB. Since taking over the First Trust bank, the customer service is a disgrace in making me feel that the money in my account isnt my own even when depositing funds into my account, I wasnt asked for photographic ID, (even though I was asked for my date of birth..?) I couldve been anyone trying to access the account. I have to produce a paper trail showing where I got my funds as the teller said they hadnt the authority to access my account? I thought that was their job to look up and check all of my lodgements/withdrawals on producing my AIB bank card at the time. Yet didnt once ask for any photographic ID. The local post office was more than willing to help me with my query and have taken their advice on the matter. So thumbs up to keep the post offices open, better customer care all round.
