I would give this experience 10 stars if I could. Carol and Frank were such gracious hosts. The location is beautiful and quiet. They made sure all our sheep desires were fulfilled. We got to hold a lamb, feed the babies and watch their precious sheep dog herd a flock of sheep. At the end we were treated to a lovely cup of tea and scones with jam and butter in the quaint cottage by the fire. We had a lovely chat learning about the area and their family farming business. This is a great location for a wedding or event and it certainly exceeded our sheep expectations.

We visited Dunfin farm towards the end of the lambing season so we missed seeing shearing demos. But that did not make our visit any less fun. Frank and his lovely wife, Carol welcomed us warmly and got our kids suited up to explore the 'maternity ward' where they learned more about lambing and got to feed and cuddle some of the little ones. Their friendly border collie, Meg gave us an enthusiastic display of her herding skills. Thereafter, Carol treated us to a cozy afternoon tea before we got back on the road. The family was so kind and hospitable, answering all our questions and educating the children about the sheep farming industry. We highly recommend a visit to Dunfin farm if you are visiting Northern Ireland!

It's a sheep heaven :) I would rather give ten stars, if it's possible! We had an amazing afternoon at the Dunfin farm today! It's such a great experience - for everyone. I am really into sheep and was so excited visiting the farm (and maybe see a lamb). We came from Germany to go hiking, sightseeing and to catch some of the Game of Thrones sets in northern ireland. It turns out that the absolute highlight of our holiday was the Dunfirm farm and their lovely owners Frank and Carol. We had such a warm welcome and could ask any question about lambing, food and livestock farming. We came inside the barns and saw so many cute lambs with their moms. Next to us was a new baby born! It was overwhelming and we had the chance to cuddle and feed the tiny five days old lambs. Believe me it was a once in a lifetime moment for me :) We also saw a training with the sweet farm dog Mag and how she rounded up the herd in high speed. Everything was so interesting and impressive. Carol also prepared fresh scones and tea for us, it was so delicious. Even my boyfriend, who is not as much into sheep as I am, was really surprised and happy about the very friendly family, the farm and all the new information. We would love to come back soon and recommend this farm experience to everyone. Thank you Frank & Carol for your passion and beautiful work with the sheep and for letting us be a part of it!

This is a MUST DO!! You will never have a better experience than coming to this magical place! Frank and Carol take you on a journey to understand how sheep farming works, how to herd sheep and shear them. They give you a private tour, allow hands on experience, and provide the BEST Irish hospitality. This was hands down the most memorable moment of our trip! They will certainly exceed any expectations!! Thank you both for your hospitality, sharing your passion, and making us a part of your farm!
