        Purchased a long case clock from James Stewart approximately 35years ago. It has pride of place in my home, and has been with my family through joyous moments, grief, births, weddings, graduations, house moves, family celebrations, ticking and chiming its way through our lives. Always there, always reliable, a part of our lives.

        My Father bought a Grandfather clock off James Stewart senior over 40 yrs ago. My Father passed away 34 yrs ago & we have down sized home so clock is wasted as it is behind door in kitchen. Apparently James's Stewart's son has taken over family business & informed me he only wants new clocks. He's not interested in 2nd hand. Also serviced Grandfather & Vienna clock. Clocks haven't been the same. Times all wrong. Obviously once clocks are sold. No back up.
