        As with everything, prices have increased but what once was a 50 pence mix-up, is now 1 , as with ice-cream and Belgian waffles. They also have a selection of cold drinks, cards , a varied collection of gifts and a few items of household goods but they also offer a gift basket service, which are beautifully decorated and wrapped with clear cellophane and a bow. The Kandy Shop really is like the original sweet shops that I remember my granda taking me to in the 70's ,it was the only place he could get his favourite liquorice sweets. All of the containers are lined up on the bookcase styled shelves. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
