I was unsure about sea cadets at first saying I thought it would be like one of those American drill places where you have to stand in the cold for two hours while someone shouts at you. However sea cadets is turning out to be a really welcoming, friendly and great experience (as long as youre not loud, because if you are an able cadet tells you to pipe down)with amazing staff and lessons (its not like school but you still learn )and overall its becoming a great experience! Although you need to bring layers because its like -70 degrees on the main deck. I would totally recommend! (Also you need a pound for stand easy which is basically the equivalent of break time but you have to be quiet ) all in all though its a great time!
