        I managed to get two tickets to visit Flying Scotsman. It was a brilliant day out, I thought lunchtime meal would be quite expensive, but it was very good and quite cheap.

        The biggest collection of real trains and railway related items in the country, there are modern trains like a Japanese bullet train as well as older trains that are up to 200 years old, some of which you can go inside. There is also a small caf as well as a shop, the museum is going to receive updates like a new "wonderlab" area opening later in 2023 as well as a redeveloped station hall opening in late 2024. Throughout the museum there is also lots of information on each vehicle there. There is also a large miniature railway with automated trains in an area of the building.
