        After speaking to 2 other cobblers (including a well known one) I contacted Gillygate Cobblers as a last resort to alter the calves on my new boots. From the initial phone call to the fitting to collection, Noel and Tracey were friendly and professional, and very reasonably priced! Would recommended to anyone needing shoe alterations!

        I took a leather bag to multi locations in the North Yorkshire area, I was told by all that it was far to complex for them to restore. Turns out it wasn't for Gillygate's! Trust when I say, go witness a master at work for yourself.

        Noel and his wife are lovely. I took my watch in for a bracelet re-size and he did it in no time while I waited for a very reasonable price. Support your local businesses. Highly recommended.
