109 Nunnery Lane - a House of York holiday home

We had 2 nights here over Easter break and we loved it. Extremely clean and tidy place and a very carefully thought out design. The decor is lovely, furniture comfortable and loads of great books/ DVDs. There's also Netflix. Very well looked after in terms of emails and texts before our stay letting us know how to get there, when we can get access, etc. I loved the electronic door key. A really good idea. Nice and quiet too. Next door is a fantastic bakery and round the corner are all sorts of shops including a Sainsbury's. Apparently there's an arrangement with a nearby B&B to use their parking but we found that set up incredibly confusing so parked in the big council carpark next to that B&B and it was the same price anyway (I think due to it being a bank holiday). The carpark is a 5 minute walk away so no bother. Download the parking app though so you can top up extra hours if you need to (Pay By Phone app). 10 minutes walk and you're in the city centre. So in summary; a great house, great location & very helpful owners. Highly recommend.

A great house in a brilliant location; two nights were not enough to explore all that there is in York. We especially loved the kitchen/ dining/ living area - it was stylish and well equipped. The bedrooms were great and the bathroom was squeaky clean and a really good size. Also, the house is easy to get to on foot from the station and two minutes from a brilliant bakery. We will be back!
