Rooms: Comfortable bedrooms, fun bathroom with Japanese style deep tub, great cinema room with football table. Tons of games and books to entertain you. Kitchen seemed to have everything needed although we didnt cook a meal ourselves. Nearby activities: Shops round the corner are great and have anything you need - nice cafes, restaurants, green grocers, pharmacy, mini supermarkets. Masses to do I. York itself. Walkability: Easy walk into tourist attractions. 18 mins to Minster, 10 mins to main shopping area, 15 mins to railway museum. V convenient.

The Air B&B at Nunnery lane was very well equipped and spacious. The hosts couldn't do enough for us when we asked about additional blankets for the beds as the weather had turned cold. Very quick to respond. Very handy for walking in to the city. Just outside the walls and a car park nearby for those travelling with a car. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Claire's house was terrific for our family of four! It was very clean and in the perfect location to make everything accessible. Bishy Street is just steps away, with access to restaurants and shops and markets, but we also easily walked to everywhere we wanted to go in York. We didn't use the basement tv room, but the living room on the main floor was comfortable and easy to use and we loved the big dining table. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to York!
