Connaught Court

I was a recent employee of Connaught Court it is a lovely place to work from the residents and staff who I have worked along side to the management team all friendly and welcoming miss it greatly if things were different I would go back there tomorrow I see it as an extension of my family as the CQC report surgests outstanding place finally I would like to make a special shout out to a certain Kris Kirk who is an exceptional team leader mentor and Bro who has taught me so much not just work related but out of work also I am eternally greatful for this

I would like to say a massive thank you to all staff at Connaught Court Nursing home. The past year and a half has been a very difficult one for both family and staff as dads needs became more and more demanding and difficult. The staff have worked tirelessly with us to meet his needs as he deteriorated on a daily basis due to his rare muscle disease and stroke. Dad was 24/7 bed ridden and totally reliant on others for his care. Dad was an amazing man, but as time went on he became more demanding and needed round the clock care. The staff have kept the family up to date regularly with respect to his needs. During the last 48 hours of dads life my family kept 24/7 vigil. We are a very large family and it must have been overwhelming for staff at times, but all staff were amazing and not only looked after dad they looked after the family too. They gave us a room to use were we could sleep in turns and freshen up, kept us replenished with teas and coffee. Dad sadly passed on Monday 24 th October 2022. I cannot thank all the staff enough. Thank you so much for all you do for all our elderly family members you will never be forgotten always in our prayers and thoughts. I highly recommend this care home for your loved ones.
