        Nearby activities: The York walls are right outside, the river ooze is lovely, parks and ponds around it. I would recommend going to the Jorvik Viking Centre. Walkability: The area is walkable, lots of things to do around. Food & drinks: Honestly good value for the price. Vegetarian options: Don't

        Charming classic pub with a warm atmosphere. Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a bitters and it was good. Interestingly, despite all the warnings about the British serving beer at room temperature, all beers I have had in this country were quite cold. I guess room temperature in Britain is about 40F. Overall a good value dining option.

        Rooms: Nice double clean room with all amenities. Only problem was there was a bad musty smell in bathroom. Walkability: Great location 10 minute walk to centre.
