        Camped in motorhome in paddock behind, great location for visiting York. Pub has good selection of beers and a typical menu for meals but needs to offer more choices including salads.

        Curry nights NOT value for money and beef in curry tough as old boots. Steak orders not cooked to requirements. One manager full of his own importance. On a plus side, the rest of the staff were brilliant and friendly under pressure.
