        Lovely old building with great decor inside. Very quick and polite service. Food was excellent. I had pasta and it was one of the best I had. Definitely come back here in the future.

        Kid-friendliness: Seems family friendly, was a bit noisy with kids but I think it's because it's roomy building, bigger than most in Shambles with lots of seating upstairs and down Dietary restrictions: limited GF options, not specified, just a beet salad (the special), waitress pointed to potatoes when we inquired, potatoes and leek soup special. We know what to look for generally but it's nice when chefs specify items and make accommodations here and there like corn starch instead of flour for simple rue. We were happy with few items we found, soup and salad those were tasty. Sad, it's a common request these days though we found so few accomodations when we inquired in York. Just Gluten intolerant, not severe.
