First visit, cheap John Smith's, horses on the telly, friendly locals, dog asleep at the bar, what more could you ask for in a pub?

My wife and myself have been in the pub and food &B business for over 40 years ,now retired. Pound for pound this is the cleanest and best value pub in this district. Well done to the landlady and staff,a credit to hard work and respect for the customers you serve, sensible music at a good volume level. Well worth a visit. K&B
